Also, it would be great if I can get a regulation for reference on the subject.Which PT events require a risk assessment be signed by the commander? Would practice of combative techniques be one of those?2017-10-04T09:56:50-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member2969352<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>More specifically speaking about section PT, not company PT. DD Form 2977 is the form you will need.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 4 at 2017 10:55 AM2017-10-04T10:55:01-04:002017-10-04T10:55:01-04:00SGT Tony Clifford2970749<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Technically all training, movement, or event requires a safety assessment. That being you really only need one for PT if you're doing something aside from the ordinary running or MSE. A good rule of thumb for whether or not something is required by a regulation is to ask yourself, "can someone possibly get hurt doing it?" If the answer is yes, they you need a risk assessment. If the answer is no, then you probably still need to do a risk assessment.Response by SGT Tony Clifford made Oct 4 at 2017 6:11 PM2017-10-04T18:11:04-04:002017-10-04T18:11:04-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member2971593<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It should be readily apparent that something like combatives practice for PT would require an assessment.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 5 at 2017 3:29 AM2017-10-05T03:29:15-04:002017-10-05T03:29:15-04:002017-10-04T09:56:50-04:00
