I'm pretty much in the "same" camp. A few points bump on both. However both were seriously flawed. I saw how fractured the Democrats were where Bernie was still the star. They paraded the same old same old whiny stuff. Republicans were too skewed on throwing harpoons vs. talking about actual fixes. It's all about trying to energize people to show up and vote. I don't recall the viewership ratings but I did watch more of the Republican as I only had iPad summaries as I was in Europe the past week. I love how Independence party and republican party united as one to support one another. The Dem party had so many people like celebrities, artists, etc came and spoke out. The convention was attended by grass-roots activists with many Republican "stars" staying home. This convention was focused on electing Donald Trump who is an outsider who brought millions of new voters to the republican side.<br />The Democrat convention was focused more on national unity which makes sense since they are essentially a liberal group who supports Federal rule and judicial activism in the federal court system. <br />Hillary Rodham Clinton is the epitome of liberal everything. All of the democrat "stars" attended or sent a video [former POTUS Jimmy Carter]<br />Bernie Sanders drew many disaffected progressive under-40 people to the democrat party.
