Most officers pick their MOS while in college (or TBS), and it's easy to do so more based on the expectations of others or cultural norms, and less on their innate personality. I've met plenty of infantry officers who are far from ENTJ, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. The only careerist pilots that are type A are attack/apache pilots. The rest are soft and cuddly. We all know that Medical types, Legal, and a couple others have what it takes for the long haul..... you can be a stud all day in the military, then you separate/retire..... Medical and the others stay in because they want to (or are obligated due to training or other pay backs), but when they leave, they have an occupation to step into on the civilian side! Infantray Officer has a direct counter part of what in civilian life? ;-) As a nurse, I may not be a stud in the service, but when I retire, I will still be a nurse!! Everyone knows that Infantry NCOs are the studliest. Response by SGT Richard H. made Aug 8 at 2014 9:09 AM 2014-08-08T09:09:10-04:00 2014-08-08T09:09:10-04:00 2014-08-06T22:30:40-04:00
