Which military license plate do you proudly display?

I have had a National Guard plate, and I wish I kept it....but moved states.

I now proudly display the Oregon GWOT medal plate....

In Oregon we have several choices, which do you display?

I give everyone a wave with veteran plates, or sometimes it is a salute...

Do you rate a plate, do you choose not to display, if so, why?

I should have placed a campaign plate as a choice....but not very many states have as a many options as Oregon....or maybe I'm wrong....

I had PH plates on our car, but Hitomi's battle with breast cancer inpired me to switch them out for the pink ribbon (breast cancer awareness). Screw "unmanly"......my baby beat breast cancer!

I am of the opinion that displaying military affiliation without discretion can make you a target. OPSEC should be considered 24/7.

I would have voted none of the option existed and I will explain why. It has come to my units attention that certain radical individuals are engaging in data farmin on soldiers and piecing these seemingly insignificant pieces of data together to gain the bigger picture of military readiness, deployment plans, movements and locations. I was advised not to present myself in any way outside of uniform as a member of the military. I display no decals on my vehicle, hide my ruck and gear in the trunk when traveling and try to be as inconspicuous as possible. This is for my safety as well as other soldiers in my unit. That being said, if I was retired, I would have, nor do I currently take, issue with soldiers who display such monikers on their person or vehicles.

I have a small USMC sticker on my car, and that's about it. I've never bought specialty plates.

Not from a lack of pride, just because I don't want to give the government any more money than I have to.

None. I have an NRA Plate on my truck. My state has Disabled Vet, NG, 82nd Abn, Bronze & Silver Star, Purple Heart, and MOH plates. I don't know if they have Branch specific ones.

I have a Generic Veterans Plate in Arizona, I went to the Local Marine Recruiter and got a USMC EGA metallic sticker and placed it under the US Flag of the plate.

I intentionally do not display a military license plate. If the savings were great enough I might consider it, but for the same price I won't do it. I am not accusing anyone else of this, but I don't do it because I do what I do for myself, not for recognition, fame, getting out of tickets, etc.

I wish I felt safe enough in my own country to show my pride. However, I would never do something like wearing a uniform in public or placing stickers on my car because of the recruitment techniques of our enemies are targeting Americans to fight for their cause. It's not common, but the threat is real enough and almost impossible to immediately identify. I'd rather not be a target, even living in a generally "safe" location.

Massachusetts offers many Veteran plates, including award plates, some of which waive annual registration fees and some of which cost more than regular plates. I display BSM plates.

I have no PH, BSM, etc. Retiree, Disabled Veteran plates..., nor will I ever. The one thing I do have is a regular Motorcycle Plate that says RGR MP...

Why no veterans specific plates... I just don't thing they are necessary.

I do not have a special plate, nor want one. Already have to worry about getting pulled over for DWU, driving while uniformed. Used to be popular in CA in the 1990s to drive up revenue, including vehicle taxes AFTER the fact

Louisiana offers multiple choices to select from and when I say multiple I mean multiple all the way from Korea to present. I chose the Afghanistan campaign for my truck.

I could rate sevral of them but o choose to have none. In Virginia they charge per year for each special aka not regular plate. I have enough stuff to pay and as much as it would be cool I look at vechiles as something that can too easily be destroyed by some bonehead. I don't customize any of the ones I have had.

I have the standard state license plate after 9-11 we were instructed to remove anything that displayed military due to being targeted - to include the DOD stickers etc. Guess I have been that way ever since.

Here in Arizona we have a generic Veteran plate. The word VETERAN is on the bottom of a white license plate with the American flag in the background. I have that plate on my SUV and motorcycle.

When I lived in Oklahoma I'd get the Guard plate with "FH-M". One year I couldn't have that so got "FREQ" instead.

Personalized with the PH and my radio call signs Wolf 36 and Wolf 37.
I think I was one of the first to complain about not being able to get the PH plate on a motorcycle. It took them 2 years and many emails but they finally changed the wording of the law to include motorcycles eligible for the PH plates.
Plus my handicap sticker.

PA has Airborne plates, which I couple with National Guard things. I wanted to capture what I feel defined me as a soldier (and what continues to), and that was the happy years with 1/501 in Alaska. Don't get me wrong, I love serving in the Guard, but that "can/will do" LGOP mindset stuck.

Idaho does put "Veteran" on your driver license. Don't need to find out if it makes a difference with law enforcement.

My Massachusetts Veteran's plate has an Air Force Emblem upon it as well as a tab for Vietnam service and is on My GMC Sierra truck, prior to that I had had three Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks that same plate had been on.
