SFC James Sczymanski Very light and absolutely no buffering. I will never go back! Love it!

I loved low, fast, easy to handle cars but after a lot of speeding tickets I just bought a reliable car and drive within the speed limit (most of the time!).

While traveling in, around Denmark, Germany, I like the train. Will get me any where and when I arrive I am relaxed and rested.

I'd give you thumbs up, but I'm out of votes. I too find that train travel in Europe and Japan is the much better way of traveling.

I love flying. If it's a short trip, I like to travel in my truck. But, long distances, I fly. My arms are tired when I arrive, but it's still the best way for me. Lol

LTC John Mohor
SGT Keith Bodine,
Just curious, seeing that you probably had plenty of helicopter flights, what was your most memorable?

LTC John Mohor, I have two. First one is losing our engine at 5000 feet and crash landing in a controlled crash. I thought we had bought the farm, but those pilots were fantastic. We spent the night in the boonies and were picked up the next morning. Second was rescuing seven wounded troops from a hot LZ in Bong Son. It was at night and the first chopper that went in was shot down. A Med-Vac tried to go in but it was too hot. Our pilot took us to the opposite side of the LZ and we were able to load all seven wounded. One of them was the Bt. Commander, out to get a medal, and ended up popping the wrong color smoke, and the gun ships unloaded on him. His right leg was blown off just below the knee. They all lived.
