Ousting him would be more dangerous. The voters have spoken and neglecting the voice of the republican voters could be a mistake by the republican leaders.

I see 2 possibilities:
1. The GOP ousts Trump, his followers go with him, dividing the party. Clinton wins.
2. The GOP nominates Trump. Clinton wins.

One will end the GOP as we know it, the other is an unknown result as no one can predict how he will govern, if he wins. One thing about Hillary, is we have a known and accepted quantity and the left don't care and will vote for her even if she shot four citizens on the streets of Benghazi.

Ousting him is the obvious response. If the Republican Party wants to maintain the illusion that they are in the best interests of the people and not simply themselves, then they need to stop undermining Trump. He is clearly the voice and candidate of the People. They're only pissed because they can't control him. What they need to do is learn to play ball, get on his good side, and then make some "suggestions" to his cabinet.

I can honestly say I am really disappointed in the outcome. However, the GOP had all candidates sign a commitment to support the nominee - but they thought Dinald would lose so they thought it insurance against a third party run.

Now after a long brutal process where the voters have spoken - they should get on board and support no matter what.

I have truly hated the last two nominees but still went along and vote for them.

I will do the same now as there are so many reasons we must be Hillary - the least is that our country has always been for sell under her and Bill. We cannot afford to have her as commander in chief will all her blunders and email issue.

So if they party does not unite - it is because they cannot accept an outsider and for that - shame on them.

The entire political system and Washington DC needs a shake up!

Ousting the presumptive nominee would be most dangerous for this nation first and the Republican party second SP5 Mark Kuzinski. While there was heated debate and several other Republican candidates did fairly well, Donald Trump has come out on top.
He is an outsider to politics in every sense of the word. It will be very interesting to see how the conventions unfold - Bernie vs Hillary supporters on the Democrat party side; and formation of the Republican party platform on the Republican side.

I think Ousting him would be worse for the Party. Look at how the Dems cannot solidly their candidates' constituents. Even when Bernie does endorse Hillary, I doubt a lot of his followers will vote for her. You'll see a lot of write ins.

But it really does not matter. Until the Voter fraud is prevented the Dems will lead.

Like many on here I agree.....The American People (R) have Voted and have chosen their pick for nominee. I believe it goes far beyond the Republican Party at this point. If ANYTHING happens to Trump, by whatever means......I think it will be "Watches off" time. (old street fighting term) I think deep down many people feel this way.

I think the GOP as it currently exists is screwed either way.

Hopefully in the ashes the bigots, no-tax loonies and religious zealots are pushed out and the GOP can go back to the right-of-center fiscally conservative and socially moderate party that it used to be and the nut job can either go back into the crazy tent or better yet, start some fringe party that won't get anywhere.

Go with Trump, ousting him would create tremendous problems. Life is full of strange twists and turns. I can not foresee the future. Who would have thought an illiterate 17 year old peasant girl would out fox the treachery of the Royal French court, take over command of the French Army, defeat the English armies repeatedly, see the French royal heir seated as King. While doing this she gained the loyalty of battle hardened French Generals. Then in captivity under terrible circumstances, she out witted the best legal minds the English could find. . I have no idea how this will play out. Probably in a Trump loss. But as I have said, life is strange!

Ousting Donald Trump would literally destroy the Republican party. It is my belief that this is only being discussed nationally because the Democrats and their comrades in the Media would love to see this happen.

Donald Trump won the primary election with the widest margin in the history of the Republican Party. If the party insiders used political gerrymandering at the convention to replace him, all these voters would jump ship (at least for this election). The outcome would be that the Republican party would lose not only the Presidency, but all the other elections this year across the board (Senate, House, Governors, Mayors, councilman, Sheriff's, etc.). After openly rigging an election, their is nothing the National Party could do or say that could stop it, even scaring us over Supreme Court seats.

if the Republican Party wants any shot at the White House this time around they need to replace him. Half of the Democrat base loathes Hillary Clinton but have no viable other party candidate to vote for. No doubt that this move would anger the loads of Trump fans out there and they should feel free to do what the Bernie fans are doing, writing in their candidate in November.

With Maybe a 31% approval overall with Americans at Large, Damned if they do, Damned if they don't. Trump is the Frankenstein Monster of the Republican Party's Creation. He learned that the Base wanted the Most Vile and Disgusting Vitriolic Rhetoric and being the Salesman that he is he was willing to dish it out. The Catch Phrases and Dog Whistles had just become to complicated or maybe Republicans just finally figured out the smoke screen wasn't working anyway outside of their community, so why bother. Here is a non-foregone-conclusion-based statement... What if Trump isn't going anywhere, regardless of your preferences? Last count, he had the national poll in presidential preference for the election. Due process has won. If the Republicans violate their own procedure, and oust him at H-hour, it would literally ensure that Hillary Clinton would become president. And if any military person is paying attention at all - you *may* find that more ugly than Trump as your commander in chief.

The election is not here, and the new president is not in office... but know that if this kind of BS political junk is slung around after *whomever* is in office, you're going to net a lot of young impressionable military people into UCMJ charges.

And if it is Trump - he will have advisors - and will ensure he gives lawful orders. Disobey one of them. I dare you.

I think that both are dangerous. Taking either action could have disastrous consequences for the party. For that reason, I think that party members should refrain from either one. A party that is divided in their support for a candidate is more dangerous. It's the type of thing that would make it possible for the country to end up being stuck (on the Democratic side) with the Socialist or the Criminal. Both choices are unacceptable.

In my opinion no Democrats should not be in office because of schemes and danger of attacks from other countries and cutting military defense and soldiers benefits. Everything that I'm writing is fact. We have a leader who has signed a bill do away with 20 year retirement from Soldiers, Housing Allowance, Food Allowance, Pro Rated Hazard Duty, Commissary Benefit. Secretary of State that takes home a private server home for e-male. I remember in the Army when my identity was stolen because some Soldier decided take home government laptop home and it was stolen out of his car and somebody filed my taxes and I never got my money.

The who's who of which party is now over. You officially have to choose between Hillary Clinton, or Donald Trump.

If you are one of those that think you can make a statement by staying home... guess what, you're wrong. You're giving a vote to the person you did not want to win, the most.

If you are one of those that think you can make a statement by voting third party... guess what, you're wrong. You're giving a vote to a person that can NOT win, and therefore, the person you did not want to win, will get the vote.

Your choices, IMO: The loudmouth who rubs some people the wrong way, but promises to make America great again and swears he will take care of the military or, the criminal who by FBI admission on 2000 counts likely broke the law and exposed classified material - and very likely let servicement die .

The final selection of the party nominee is a democratic/republican process, and has been made. If you are a party member, and do not support or endorse your party's selection, you really do not believe in that process. You probably should not be in office, and are too self-important.
