The greater school of Stoicism has influenced me the most, with figures like Cato. For me this also includes more recent iterations of Stoic-thought, like Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning."

The other great influencer is Socrates and his thoughts on education and self-reflection.

They not Greek but their interpretations do have their connections to Stocism, Epicureanism and Aristotilean thought. Soren Kierkegaard, Immanuel Kant, and Augustine of Hippo.
