Research goes both ways but in moderation both are good and far better than any other zero-calorie or sugared drinks. For me coffee is best!

Sgt Kelli Mays I don't drink coffee at all and I only drink Decafinated Green Tea in the mornings, so I would have to say Green Tea!

Starbucks Pumpkin Latte or Carmel Macchiato would be my guess They seem to get my old, old battery started in the Morning before working out or running & with all that caffeine I don't doze off in the afternoons .

Well better for you is a loaded question Sgt Kelli Mays :-)
I can feel better in the morning after a strong cup of bold black coffee and can relax in late afternoon with a cup of black or orange pekoe or Darjeeling tea at a British tea.
Both are good to go through from my perspective. If you asked my cardiologist, gastroenterologist, neurologist or GP you might get a different answer :-)
One nice thing about black coffee and tea without any additives is that most medical tests allow them to be consumed in small amounts before you go through them [except for heart rhythm tests, etc] :-)

Health benefits-wise? Honestly I'd say neither. In moderation neither is particularly bad, it's all the stuff we add, but more than a cup a day (2 at most) is more caffeine than we should have in my opinion.

Oh and I'm 100% guilty, I'm not criticizing anyone. I used to drink 2 pots of coffee a day and I still have days where I hit 4 cups.

Probably Green Tea is better for me. I do drink a lot of Cold Green Tea while at work but I do so love Coffee it just doesn't love me back as much these days. My last several years in the Navy were in Bremerton so I do have a taste for Starbucks.

Are you serious? The military as I knew it, ran on caffeine and nicotine. I had a coffee pot behind my desk, an ashtray next to my coffee mug. The day they made smokers go outside productivity dropped 50%.

Most the time I drink Coffee but then Tea is good at other times. In warm weather i tend to drink a lot of ice tea. At home We have Kcup brewer, My wife doesn't like coffee and drinks tea, Me i make coffee in that but don't want to make a full pot just to have one pot. It works out pretty well for both of us.

Everybody has their preference as to what they enjoy. It may not be what’s best for them but if they enjoy it , so be it !....
As for me give me my BlackRifleCoffee..
A mix of light roast for caffiene and medium to dark roast for flavor... Great way to start my day..

They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Coffee to me is the better wake up drug. Tea even with caffeine, not as much. I do drink tea later on in the day both to change things up and for the medicinal properties that it has.

Because of health issues I've had to give up beer, sugar and restricted intake of other food item I enjoy. I'm not giving up my coffee.
