Which do you prefer, military or civilian hospitals and or medical related services?

I have had great and not so great under both. But -, military seems to be more consistent in quality. The negative always changing personnel.

When I retired I requested a "Shared Physical" Civilian facilities have a different feeling. In military hospitals, the "Clerk" normally a civilian with an attitude, should check the attitude, but the docs and medics in the Military facility are top notch

When we moved to Olympia, WA, Madigan AMC would not enroll new retirees coming from out of area, so we went with Tricare standard. I don't regret that move for a second...
