SPC Private RallyPoint Member5724039

Hello,

My question is in regards to my wife who is active duty and is getting a medboard. Before enlisting together, we married in Colorado, but due to her injury and subsequent surgery, she is unable to complete her MOS training and remains in IET status, wheras I have PCS'd to Fort Stewart, GA. We've heard tell that when it comes to her final move, the DoD will pay for her and her goods to move to our home of record in Colorado, but we have also heard that because she is a military spouse and my dependent, she will be relocated along with her goods to my duty station. My question is this: which answer is correct? Or at the very least, where can we look for more information?

Thank you all in advance for your time and expertiseWhere will my Active Duty spouse be relocated to on her final PCS as a result of a Medboard?2020-03-31T13:23:45-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5724039

Hello,

My question is in regards to my wife who is active duty and is getting a medboard. You can elect to have them sent somewhere else but if it is more expensive you have to pay the difference.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 31 at 2020 1:53 PM2020-03-31T13:53:10-04:002020-03-31T13:53:10-04:00MAJ Ken Landgren5724606

Contact the transportation office. They will be able to work with the local TMO office on the details to include address. Changing the address from your home of record to a new address isn't a major deal. I wouldn't stress.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Apr 3 at 2020 11:06 AM2020-04-03T11:06:04-04:002020-04-03T11:06:04-04:002020-03-31T13:23:45-04:00
