Was working summers and weekends in a dead end warehouse job. <br />My first enlistment sent me to Diego Garcia, Panama and the Philippines. So it was an outstanding decision on my part! Just graduated from HS in June, enlisted in August. Could hardly wait to get to the recruiting station once I had made up my mind. Also realizing I was basically unemployable with a HS degree, and I had no interest in going to college also helped incentivize me.
