Was working summers and weekends in a dead end warehouse job. <br />My first enlistment sent me to Diego Garcia, Panama and the Philippines. Just graduated from HS in June, enlisted in August. Could hardly wait to get to the recruiting station once I had made up my mind. Also realizing I was basically unemployable with a HS degree, and I had no interest in going to college also helped incentivize me.
