We're limited to 5 poll options, so sorry for not being more specific. I was assigned to C Btry, 1/81st FA from '78 to '81 & B Btry & HHB 3/9th FA from '81 to '82. I worked as a Recorder, PAL operator & B team member.

My first duty assignment as a Second Lieutenant was C Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry, 56th Field Artillery Brigade (Pershing) [1972-1975]. Our unit was located in Heilbronn, Germany and we supported the 3/84th FA (Pershing), by providing security for their fixed sites and during field exercises/deloyments. We had two other companies that supported the other two Pershing battalions in Germany.

I was assigned to Charlie Company, 2nd of the 17th Infantry (Buffalos), 7th Infantry Division, Fort Ord, CA in December 1975 as a Private First Class, then onto Chievres AFB, Belgium for 3 years with the 357th Aviation Detachment and the rest is history on my profile page.

For Pershing in Germany, I was assigned to B Co 55th Support Bn, supporting 1/81st FA then 1/9th FA from Sep 82 to Dec 86.

I was a member of the 3d Squadron/3d ACR (Brave Rifles) in Kaiserslautern from 64-66. No Pershings, just tanks, APCs, 81 mm motors, 114s (recon & command vehicles) and SP Howitzers. Armored Cav Troops/Tank Troop and a Howitzer Battery. Aviation section was controlled by Regiment but detached to each squadron.
