At one point I knew what i was doing or wanted but life changed. Ive just been coasting by really unsure with where to go or what to do. I guess i can say I've lost my military bearing somewhat. You can also try reaching out to any VSO (American Legion, VFW, etc.) that you qualify for membership. Certified peer support specialists work at the VA and they are wonderful. [1] Go to the nearest VA or VA assistance office as Thomas recommended. [2] Seek public assistance by getting into a work/training program. What skills did you receive in the Army and how can you utilize them to stabilize your life? Remember your first job may not be the one you want the rest of your life, BUT it is a start.
