SPC Phillip Norton5762918<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This has been bugging me all day, I remember hearing the story of a standard bearer for the Union that marched against a troop of Texans and by the time he had gotten to them they were cheering him on and demanding he be given the MOH. Anyone know if this is real or if I just made it up some how?Where or how can I confirm a story about a US Civil War recipient of the MOH?2020-04-11T03:25:14-04:00SPC Phillip Norton5762918<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This has been bugging me all day, I remember hearing the story of a standard bearer for the Union that marched against a troop of Texans and by the time he had gotten to them they were cheering him on and demanding he be given the MOH. That would be my first stop for research and the first people I would call if it isn't in the archives. I would think they could point you in the right direction. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.cmohs.org/">http://www.cmohs.org/</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">

There are several books that detail the recipients and their acts. You can also pull the info up online. I don't know if you can pull it by "acts" though.Response by CSM Richard StCyr made Apr 13 at 2020 2:23 PM2020-04-13T14:23:12-04:002020-04-13T14:23:12-04:002020-04-11T03:25:14-04:00
