SPC Phillip Norton 5762918 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This has been bugging me all day, I remember hearing the story of a standard bearer for the Union that marched against a troop of Texans and by the time he had gotten to them they were cheering him on and demanding he be given the MOH. Anyone know if this is real or if I just made it up some how? Where or how can I confirm a story about a US Civil War recipient of the MOH? 2020-04-11T03:25:14-04:00 SPC Phillip Norton 5762918 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This has been bugging me all day, I remember hearing the story of a standard bearer for the Union that marched against a troop of Texans and by the time he had gotten to them they were cheering him on and demanding he be given the MOH. That would be my first stop for research and the first people I would call if it isn&#39;t in the archives. I would think they could point you in the right direction. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.cmohs.org/">http://www.cmohs.org/</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/503/225/qrc/3531-t.jpg?1586791557"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="http://www.cmohs.org/">CMOHS.org - Official Website of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Apr 13 at 2020 11:26 AM 2020-04-13T11:26:14-04:00 2020-04-13T11:26:14-04:00 CSM Richard StCyr 5772039 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you know the Soldiers name you can look it up. There are several books that detail the recipients and their acts. You can also pull the info up online. I don&#39;t know if you can pull it by &quot;acts&quot; though.
