When I went to WLC at Ft Hood in 2011 they made us place our patches in the middle of the pocket to include the flap. The reason was that it's states centered on the pocket and underneath the flap is more pocket so it's included. I've been wearing mine that way since but often I get some smarty trying to change the placement of my patch. i also noticed that when they made correction they never change the deployment patch so it's a confusion to me as to why on one side and not the other. What's your experience and facts to back them up? Otherwise, as long as the patch is there and straight, then Im good. In a school environment, I wouldn't risk any negative backlash over a unit patch.

BUT . . .

There is a reason why something is called a pocket and something else is called a pocket flap. The combat patch and the unit patch are centered on the pocket. SSG Nathan Bryant Thu, 03 Mar 2016 23:34:13 -0500 2016-03-03T23:34:13-05:00 2015-07-24T12:16:42-04:00
