Where did you do your tanking? After AIT at Fort Knox I was with the 5/32 Armor, 24th ID in Muich Germany from Dec 1964 to Aug 1967, Then I was at range control at Fort Irwin from Sep 1967 till Jan 1968, then with 1/68 Armor 8th IID at Baumholder Germany Feb -Nov 1968. Then I ETSed and eventually dis another 15 years USAR and CAARNG, but was off the tank.

I did both my basic and AIT training at Ft Knox from Nov 88 - Jan 89. Then from Feb 89 - Mar 90 HQ Company 2ID, Camp Casey Korea. From April 90 - June 91 Grafenwoehr Germany.

I served with the 1st batt. 33armor at fort Knox KY. Then to Korea in 1969

H co., 2/2 ACR, Bamberg, Ger. Also did Border Patrol from Coburg. I was there from 1-71 to 6-74. I drove an M60A1, got to crush a brand-new Mercedes that was parked where it should not have been. Had the whole column held up. TC said Move Out, so we did. GOD, that was GREAT !!

Thank you for your service Sgt Hackwith. My tanking began at Fort Knox like you, then deployed to Vietnam with the 11th ACR in July 1969 to 1970. Sgt BERLIEW

I didn't go in till 1970 trained at ft Knox kirchgon Germany 3rd armored division, I was a lifter brat did 12 year's over there,3 years at a time

I did my tanking with the 3rd Squadron 11th ACR in Bad Hersfeld West Germany

I did my tanking with the 3/11th ACR in Bad Hersfeld from 77-83 the ETSed did the rest with the Army Reserves as an 88 m transportation
