Like most things, I think people's interest ebbs and flows. Some lose interest after a while and stop visiting sites. Some eventually return, others do not. Many, like myself, get busy with "life" and don't have the time or interest to be regular visitors to various sites.

Some quit and stopped coming and/or shut down their profile. Some died. Some got their profiles banished for some egregious infraction

Maj Kim Patterson Some moved off to jobs where participation in a social media site was not allowed. Some moved away.

Maj Kim Patterson I'm a Spook, I Don't want to do the Research but I think it might reveal what I don't want to Hear. Many of Our Shipmates, Comrades in Arms were Older, Not Necessarily Healthy. I suspect Many We've lost to Covid.

The quality of questions and posts in my feed has dropped off over time. I'm not sure why the App won't show newer content first. I've considered uninstalling the app from my phone. Haven't done it yet though.

Once RP became a ‘social exchange site’ rather than a military focused site, the inclination to participate has vanished for many of us have vanished. “We” may glance at current posts, shrug our shoulders and close our RP session.

I've seen several come, go, and return over the years. Once someone is verified I don't think RP does anything to remove them from the rolls unless they ask to be removed. I've even received what appear to be new posts from some who passed several years ago, not sure how that happens.

I peruse on here occasionally, not as much as when it was new. I did find some changes and notice a shift in the types of discussions that interest me.

I have no idea when I signed up for rally point. But all of a sudden today, October 16th, I get an email from them. Where have they been for years?
