Where can you find the BEST Hot Dogs?

We argue over everything here on RP, but what I haven't seen is where can you get the BEST Hot Dogs. And if it's not a location, what would you have on your Hot Dog to make it the BEST thing ever? I know in DC some might say Ben's Chilli Bowl. Good chilli, and good dogs. Frankfurter MRE's do not count. Those were nasty as hell.

We never argue here on RallyPoint...we just have spirited exchanges...LOL

I did have a chance a few months ago to travel to Detroit and have my first Coney Dog. It's a hot dog on crack and my stomach was not all to happy but my taste buds were loving life!

In 1985 Bogota Colombian, there was a guy that made what he called the Hawaiian Hot Dog, it had fresh pineapples, onions, sweet relish, mustard, and a sugar cane based ketchup, on a wheat bun; so good.

First a perfectly cooked bacon wrapped hot dog, re-fried beans, diced tomato, onions, cheese, mustard and mayo... all on super soft bread that holds everything together.

When my unit, 4/325 AIR, got deployed to Miami for Hurricane Andrew disaster relief in 1993, I remember this little hottie, sporting a bikini, selling hot dogs off a cart along the main road running through Coral Gables. They might not have been the "best" but, she was smoking.

VFW Post 10267, in Jurupa Valley, Calif. Last Friday of the month they serve Hebrew National 1/4 pounders on gourmet buns with every kind of topping you can think of. They serve 1/3 pound burgers that night too.
