Where can I qualify my rifle and by whom must it be done by?

I'm looking into re-qualifying for the US Navy M16 course and I'm curious of any places in or near South Carolina that I would be able to do it. Recommendations near San Diego would suffice as well. My current command does not offer any such course.

Well the only place in South Carolina is the Navy base in Charleston. The Navy doesn't do weapons qualification

I'm not sure what you mean by "The Navy doesn't do weapons qualification." I think I misunderstand you on that. I was qualified in boot camp on the M9 Beretta and I know several people at my command that have qualified on the M16/M4.

What about Shaw AFB or Ft. Jackson? I did my initial qual. on the M-16 at Shaw in the late 70's.

PO3 (Join to see) oh ok it just seemed the way you were asking for places to qualify I thought you were saying that the Navy didn't do weapon quals any more excuse an old retired infantrymen
