SGT Private RallyPoint Member5642610

My wife is pregnant and due May 31st. Because of this, the latest we can PCS before the baby is due is April 19th, and my DEROS is April 16th. However with the current stop move of all US military service members from the Republic of Korea until May 6th, we will be unable to PCS until after the baby is born and we get DEERS updated, a passport, SSN, etc. I am told that all of that will most likely take a minimum of 3 months. Will this cause my assignment to be changed? If so, how soon can I expect to find out? Is there anyone I can go to for more information/who would have more answers related to my situation specifically? My NCO is a big help, but he only has so much information and I am his first married soldier with a dependent, and all of this is happening so fast my chain of command is unsure where to even start. Any help would be appreciated.Where can I go for more information on how the current COVID-19 stop move will impact my reassignment from Korea to Fort Bragg?2020-03-08T21:21:09-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5642610

My wife is pregnant and due May 31st. They have an understanding of what this all looks like and how it will all shake out. I doubt your assignment will be changed just push your report date to the right some. If this is how things are going down just focus on your wife and new family member, the rest will work itself out. Request SSN.
2. Schedule and obtain EFMP screening for infant.
3. Update Command Sponsorship to add infant.
4. PCS orders will have to be amended to add infant.
5.
