Where can I get a new phone that will ship to my APO where I am deployed?

I am currently deployed and in need of a new cellphone. Where can I order one from that will ship to my APO?

You can try using Ship It APO. It's a company that receives your mail in the US and forwards it to your APO address for you. It works great when a company won't ship something APO. The only thing is now you're basically paying shipping twice.

In my location we can’t ship via Diplomatic Pouch (kinda like APO) if it contains lithium ion batteries over a certain size. The problem is that many companies, Amazon and Apple included, know that these restrictions exist and limit APO shipping for these types of items. Since cell phone batteries are generally not large enough to be I’ve the size limit, the work around is to use an APO forwarding service. Send the phone directly to the service, and for a fee they will repackage and send to your APO. I personally did this to get my wife’s cell phone through our mail system. Worked like a charm...

If you have civilian contractor buddies they are a great resource. We used to hand-carry items back for our green brothers/sisters and most times it was faster (def safer) than shipping.

For anything that Amazon or anyone else cannot or will not ship to an APO/FPO, you can use APO Box. I've used this service on both deployments and while assigned to Korea. Basically, for a small fee, they give you a US Stateside address where your item(s) is/are shipped. They then forward your stuff on to your actual APO/FPO address using either Military or other cargo carriers that deliver to your location. Again, I have used this service, and it works reliably.
