It's a company that receives your mail in the US and forwards it to your APO address for you. It works great when a company won't ship something APO. The only thing is now you're basically paying shipping twice.

https://www.shipitapo.com/home.php

ShipitAPO :: Home - The Original APO/FPO/DPO Forwarding Service

We Process your Package Your packages are processed, per your ShipitAPO account settings, and mailed out via the USPS in under 48 hours.

CW4 Keith Dolliver Mon, 02 Nov 2020 00:39:51 -0500 2020-11-02T00:39:51-05:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 2 at 2020 12:43 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/where-can-i-get-a-new-phone-that-will-ship-to-my-apo-where-i-am-deployed?n=6460410&urlhash=6460410

If you have an APO Amazon will ship to it. The problem is that many companies, Amazon and Apple included, know that these restrictions exist and limit APO shipping for these types of items. Since cell phone batteries are generally not large enough to be I’ve the size limit, the work around is to use an APO forwarding service. Send the phone directly to the service, and for a fee they will repackage and send to your APO. I personally did this to get my wife’s cell phone through our mail system. Worked like a charm... We used to hand-carry items back for our green brothers/sisters and most times it was faster (def safer) than shipping. I've used this service on both deployments and while assigned to Korea. Basically, for a small fee, they give you a US Stateside address where your item(s) is/are shipped. They then forward your stuff on to your actual APO/FPO address using either Military or other cargo carriers that deliver to your location. Again, I have used this service, and it works reliably.

http://www.apobox.com/

Home – Landing Page

Signup for an APO Box account at no cost and we will issue you a unique address in the United States to use with any online merchant or your family.

SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 02 Nov 2020 10:20:15 -0500 2020-11-02T10:20:15-05:00 2020-11-01T23:11:42-05:00
