I'm asking because I was made aware that I can possibly transition earlier than previous ETS if the unit has a spot available now any info would help Where can I find units in my hometown to transition from active duty to reserves 2015-07-20T12:53:17-04:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 829045

I'm soon to be transitioning to the reserves and want to find out where I can find the units that will have my mos or do they just assign me to one closest to my home of record? They'll let you know of units in the area. They can pull all the units in the area on their database tell you where you MOS is at or give you other MOS options. And since you'll need one to do your transfer paperwork anyway best to start with them.
You can get a contact from their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/armycareercounselors/

Log into Facebook | Facebook

Log into Facebook to start sharing and connecting with your friends, family, and people you know.

Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 20 at 2015 2:49 PM 2015-07-20T14:49:52-04:00 2015-07-20T14:49:52-04:00 1SG Private RallyPoint Member 847229

What MOS, and where will you live? Use the advanced search function to find units, recruiters, or active reservists in that area with your MOS. RallyPoint will put you in direct contact with them so you can hopefully generate some options and figure out the best situation for you as quickly as possible.

Here is a list of current army recruiters assigned to Oklahoma City:
https://www.rallypoint.com/units/4j-oklahoma-city-4j-us-army-recruiting-battalion-oklahoma-city-oklahoma-city-ok/current

(4J) US Army Recruiting Battalion - Oklahoma City ((4J) - Oklahoma City), 5th Recruiting Brigade...

Find (4J) US Army Recruiting Battalion - Oklahoma City ((4J) - Oklahoma City) members on RallyPoint.

Response by SSG Carlos Madden made Jul 27 at 2015 11:26 PM 2015-07-27T23:26:03-04:00 2015-07-27T23:26:03-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 848804

I also know that the reserves in norman are seeking do sergeants if you look up Don Carr on Facebook he can give you the down low.
