Where can I find orders for awards, decorations, and military education?

I'm trying to find orders for awards/decorations and military education on iPERMS and AKO to update my ERB, but there are a lot of orders that I can't find it. So where and how can I find those? Thanks.

iPERMS is notorious for having stuff fall off. Do you not have hard copies in your "I Love Me Book"? All of my hard copies are in my book, that way when something falls off or is not in there I can have it updated.

Have you looked at your OMPF? If your S1 shop was worth a damn they should have uploaded the documents there.

1. your S-1 should have a copy!!!
2. YOU SHOULD HAVE A COPY!
3. Call your old unit... and hope they have a copy..........

You need the original hard copies so your S1 can load them into iperms and your ERB. Good luck.

Just because it's the computer age hard copies of awards, pay stubs orders etc all come in handy. Not knowing if you'll go for a 20 year active or reserve caree keep a copy oor two of everything! Oh and be sure to maintain a hard copy of all your medical records too!

The S1 of the unit(s) that gave the awards and decorations will have a copy of the orders. You can contact the schoolhouse for the 1059 for your professional military education.
I am a bit surprised you don't know this.

I hope you kept copies - I have things in my "Me" book from before reception when I was in DEP. DEP, reception, basic, AIT, first unit. Now I have slacked a little the last few years. But I have all my awards. I found orders for unit awards that my first unit got.

If you need to find unit awards (and your S1 doesn't have them): https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/Unit%20Award%20Info

That lists all Army unit awards - including some JMUAs.

But if you don't have a hard copy of awards and S1 doesn't - you might be kind of screwed.

You can use your ATRRS transcript to show your military education.
Your awards are more difficult to track down as it relies on your S-1 to keep copies.
If you don't already have one, as SFC Steven Borders said, start your "I love me book."
If you have copies of anything not already in your record, send them to your S-1 for upload to your iPERMS.

Lots of good advice in here. Check HRC.mil or whatever the HRC site is.
Also, usually in the little green award holder, for the actual award, the paperwork is usually folded up behind it the award (or at least for all of mine they were).
