AR 135-178 is geared toward Guard and Reserve. Apparantly you can, once accepted into the ROTC program, request a conditional release if you are not applying to the Green-to-gold scholarship program.Where can I find a regulation covering conditional release (for active duty to go into ROTC)?2017-02-09T03:17:44-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member2325086<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Trying to find the Active Duty regulation and more information on conditional release. They are most up to date on the rules for ROTC and Green to Gold. If you are accepted to USMA, ROTC, OCS, or Green to Gold, you will be released.Response by COL Charles Williams made Feb 9 at 2017 11:34 PM2017-02-09T23:34:13-05:002017-02-09T23:34:13-05:00LTC Charles T Dalbec2620237<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Goid information.
