Sgt Jonathan Davis 295238 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I write a lot on the website Quora. There, a veteran asked this question: How do I deal with the bitterness that has been festering inside of me since I've returned from the Middle East?<br /><br />I answered, but part of what I advised was speaking with other veterans. I'm curious where other veterans today reach out and find community they can open to about shared military experiences, positive and negative. Where are the best places you, as a veteran, have found to talk to others about post combat and deployment stress? 2014-10-26T18:58:34-04:00 Sgt Jonathan Davis 295238 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I write a lot on the website Quora. If one lost ties most military forums are a good place to find someone to talk too. RP is a great place. You could even find guys from the unit you served in and also find military members with combat experience like they have. A large network is a good place. RP being the largest military network I a good place to start off at. It has also become a rally point for persons in crisis. All in all it is a good place to find fellow Warfighters who enjoy making connections with other Warfighters in a fairly causal environment. If you are looking for a more active group who are trying to combat discrimination against veterans who suffer with PTS(d) and other issues. also active in combating Veteran Suicide. He won't sugar coat a damn thing, but he will help cope with that festering demon. Everyone's battle is different. Everyone's fight is different. It's finding a common battleground strategy that helps. And Chris is the best at it. Good luck brother.
