I've seen administrative separations take months. I'm not sure why they gave you such a silly timeline.Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Mar 10 at 2021 4:55 PM2021-03-10T16:55:25-05:002021-03-10T16:55:25-05:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member6812499

I'm going to assume that
1: they're backed up because - you guessed it COVID and most HR are teleworking and civilians who don't give a crap about timelines
or
2: they're in your mail.mil along with 34,986,234,875 other emails E4 and below never log into to readResponse by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 10 at 2021 5:01 PM2021-03-10T17:01:18-05:002021-03-10T17:01:18-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6812895

The delay is that you are the very lowest priority at a training post. There are thousands of Soldiers training and receiving orders. Those orders have deadlines they have to be cut in time to meet. You are literally able to be pushed to the back burner for months if necessary while the MPD catches up to all the urgent problems. If there is a delay the MPD isn't going to contact you either. They'll cut them when they have a chance to.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 10 at 2021 8:09 PM2021-03-10T20:09:21-05:002021-03-10T20:09:21-05:00SSG Brian G.6812921

I'll be blunt. You are at a training post. You are getting out. You are the least of the Army's concerns meaning that they do not care and you get released on their whim when some clerk decides to process you you and rubber stamp it. Until then you are detail, CQ, runner etc. bait.

You will eventually get processed out and given your final orders and flight home. They are in no hurry to do so. There is a saying... rewards in success, price in failure. You are experiencing the price. The best you can do is sit back and wait... another Army favorite... hurry up and wait. Get a book, relax on your bunk, read, collect your pay... and wait. It will be your turn eventually.Response by SSG Brian G. made Mar 10 at 2021 8:17 PM2021-03-10T20:17:56-05:002021-03-10T20:17:56-05:002021-03-10T16:36:16-05:00
