This list is often known as the "black list". Some of these locations are social gathering places like clubs because of fights, STDs or places like "pay day now" that offer an early paycheck yet charge 60 percent up front. I would also add places like car lots for the inexperience car buyer. Those places will take a young service member to the cleaners and they will still come out dirty. When I was at Howard AFB in Panama as a civilian I found out the USAF not only told everyone the name of the off-limit place but provided a photo and directions to the place. I guess so the Airmen would be sure to avoid it. I always thanked them for providing directions to the best places in town.
