Back when I served in the Army PC stood for Patrol Cap; and also for Personal Computer. Then "Political Correctness" came along; which even with the best of intentions got hijacked by the overly sensitive new age types, and subverted into the weakening of our society on a whole.

ENS Private RallyPoint Member That is a great cartoon and for me I think the two phrases are used way too much in today's society by people that are insecure (not all people, but those who want others to recognize them or feel sorry for them or who are trying to promote a cause) - just my opinion. There are things that can offend people and the general public, and there are people that can do things to be offensive (just because they enjoy doing it and they can be criminals as well, but there are Good Citizens that can cause the same things with Offending and being Offensive - just my opinion! It's a real "can of worms" that could be discussed for decades!
