No. They will align. They will unite to appoint Judges and remove Obamacare. They will also focus on allowing companies to bring cash back to America without all the taxes. They will focus on state control for many issues and removing federal power. They will focus on strong military. There will be law and order and a strong border for security for our citizens.

No but primarily because he can't, not that he wouldn't like to. Executive Branch has great power of course, but there are areas where it can't legally make changes. Think of it as any change of command in the military. You don't necessarily see mass changes of subordinates, but you do see changes in influence of those subordinates and new people coming in that have a history with that commander. Some will eventually move on and some will establish a good working relationship with the new boss.

That's the first thing I predict. If the Republicans backed him, he probably wouldn't have gotten this far. But when 2 parties turn against you, I anticipate some spring cleaning.

Trump is not really a Republican. Both major parties are in total melt down. Probably a good thing. Ideally, a national party should provide support - facilities for press conferences, for instance, seed money for campaigns -- for candidates from county commissions, state representatives, congress critters, senators and national candidates. That will have to be redone.

The Clintons blew all that up so that her broken down old ass was the only candidate at the national level.

That would be an unwise move. That is what Donald Trump would do in Trump towers, but hopefully he will be guided along the lines of teamwork, not dominance. Might be a good idea to clean house with term limits and get more American People in the legislature on a rotational level, the stagnant way that Congress operates is to blame where so many spend time in the district only working on re-election and not the issues. My political statement of the decade is now over, regardless of party, limit the terms of folks, no one should represent a State for 40-50 years.

No. But I believe he should encourage his new cabinet, whomever they may be, to clean house inside their bureaucracies of anyone, regardless of party affiliation, who demonstrates an unwillingness to participate in 'draining the swamp' to eliminate the culture of fraud, waste, and abuse in the Federal government. In my mind, if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

The president has no authority over congress and the safest thing in the world is a congressman running for reelection. On that note, I fully expect Trump to reach out to all sides and try to actually accomplish something. He has nothing to gain from being vindictive.
