PVT(P) Private RallyPoint Member4200364<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enlisted into the Army National Guard on Nov. 11 2017, and on Jan. 16 2018 I was in a motor vehicle accident and suffered an injury of 3 herniated discs. On Feb. 25 2018 my commander had me sign an intent do discharge. Todays date is Dec. 11 2018 and I have still not received an NGB-22 or anything. Following my intent to discharge contact with my recruiter dwindled to 0 contact at all after about 4 months. He now doesnt answer my calls, except once about 3 months ago he said my paperwork was at JAG. I've been in the dark for quite a while now and to be honest I'm getting fed up, as I would like to know when I'm eligible for re-enlistment. I receive an RE-3 code and when I was in contact with my recruiter he reassured me I would be able to re-enlist with a waiver. Aside from playing the waiting game, any recommendations on what I can or should do? ThanksWhen should I receive my NGB-22?2018-12-11T15:04:23-05:00PVT(P) Private RallyPoint Member4200364<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enlisted into the Army National Guard on Nov. 11 2017, and on Jan. 16 2018 I was in a motor vehicle accident and suffered an injury of 3 herniated discs. The faster you can pass a physical exam the better. And you aren’t technically out of the service yet so I’m surprised you arent still drilling with your retention battalion even on a dead man profile. Call weekly for another month or so and if that doesn’t work, jag can help. I can almost guarantee you won’t win any good cookie points if you do that though. (I’m prior active duty MP, discharged and now guard assigned to an infantry unit). You definitely need to focus on getting strong again cause you might get broken in basic and that’s a risk the military probably doesn’t want to take.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 11 at 2018 7:23 PM2018-12-11T19:23:18-05:002018-12-11T19:23:18-05:00LTC James McElreath4202651<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your state probably has a general in charge of their NGB. or contact your congressman (if wanting out).Response by LTC James McElreath made Dec 12 at 2018 1:18 PM2018-12-12T13:18:10-05:002018-12-12T13:18:10-05:00MSG William Dunbar4248154<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm lost as to why it went to the Jags Office for a Medical discharge unless you were at fault in the accident.Response by MSG William Dunbar made Dec 31 at 2018 8:00 AM2018-12-31T08:00:31-05:002018-12-31T08:00:31-05:002018-12-11T15:04:23-05:00
