If your reclass is a PCS, then you will get BAH at the new location. If it's TDY and return, then your BAH should be based on your permanent location. So you just need to find out if your orders are a PCS or TDY. If less than 6 months, it's probably TDY.Response by LTC Yinon Weiss made Feb 6 at 2016 1:21 PM2016-02-06T13:21:52-05:002016-02-06T13:21:52-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1285001<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>25S is a PCS move.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 6 at 2016 6:16 PM2016-02-06T18:16:05-05:002016-02-06T18:16:05-05:00SGM Matthew Quick1285945<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends on the new MOS' training length. If training is 20-weeks or more, this would be a PCS and if your family does not PCS with you, you can request a BAH waiver for dependents current location.Response by SGM Matthew Quick made Feb 7 at 2016 8:16 AM2016-02-07T08:16:53-05:002016-02-07T08:16:53-05:00SGM Steve Wettstein1286015<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>BAH is based on the SM's location not where their dependents are located.Response by SGM Steve Wettstein made Feb 7 at 2016 9:05 AM2016-02-07T09:05:03-05:002016-02-07T09:05:03-05:00CPT(P) Private RallyPoint Member4249623<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Use this link to find an accurate representation of what you can expect for your BAH.
