As a kid I saw Berlin Wall, Notre Dame cathedral, London, castles, etc... I wouldn't change it for anything. However, I am out now and raising my kids in Tennessee, where they have been in school for years with the same kids and will be. So it's the old question of is it better to have experiences or roots? I have reconnected with a lot of old friends from my youth on Facebook over the last couple of years and I lean to the experience side of the argument.
