It will do more to improve your marketability than most anything else. I have used all my TA for the year and do not want to touch my GI Bill money as of yet. This is important if they ever transfer to another school, and also having qualifying education credentials when applying for civilian jobs. After my husband's passing I fell victim to many taking advantage of my situation and ended up losing my house and became homeless for over 4months. The situation was complicated with me suffering from fibromyalgia and losing faith in the medical field especially VA. I was trying to get grief counseling but was just ignored when counselors were switched. I have been trying to manage on my own but will admit it has been difficult. I returned to school but late in ten years allowed. I only used a few of the months of eligibility and was dropped with 30 months still unused. I'm struggling to afford continuing school and am forced to go into debt with loans. I have appealed but denied as I have no medical proof of the anxiety that prevented me to start earlier since the system failed me and I decided to try to overcome my issues on my own. I have sent emails to different organitions for support to ask for a extension and use some of the months I didn't use, I don't need all of them to graduate, but have not received any response. I'm at loss to what I should do next. Meanwhile I struggle on my limited monthly budget based on my surviving spouse payment from the VA, to where I get food boxes to have something to eat. What should I do in order to resolve this issue? I want to say thank you for your service to all the men and women who have served our country. Their service and sacrifice has kept our country and people safe. There is not enough words to express my appreciation and gratitude.
