The PMP is good to have in that PMs at larger companies (and in gov&#39;t) are often expected to have them. I think scrum / agile principles have a lot of value, but the people I&#39;ve seen with those certifications also don&#39;t get high value project assignments (I suspect there&#39;s a correlation). More often than not, I see them in our PMO.<br /><br />Hope this helps.
