If you want to gamble on getting stuck then stick around the company area.<br />Also passes are not guaranteed, the fact that they require approval means they are subject to disapproval.<br />Hence the encouragement of commanders to grant accrued leave. The unit must be manned at all times if folks are present. 2. Passes are a privilege and requests can be denied by the chain of command. 3. If the troop declined block leave then, their 4th POC belongs to the 1SG as needed. 4. I suggest they wait till the roster is posted and then try again for a pass.
