I like that the police came (wonder what the response time was?) and also the $2,000 reward. The average citizen would be lucky if the police even showed up and most likely they would be told to come to the station to do a report, but good luck getting any actual investigation.

I have long held the belief that we are NEVER as safe as we'd like to think we are. That's why I have made certain things a habit, and avoid making habits of things that increase my risk. That said, I do believe it is obvious we're experiencing a whole new level of instability and insecurity globally. We imitate the ostrich at our peril.
