I have quantified it to a great degree recently which kind of disturbs me because I don&#39;t know what to think of it. I watched the Friday Night Lights series several months ago. Now I am watching it again with very little understanding that I watched it already. I suppose this is something I will lament about until I accept it. I think memory loss changes the perception of reality and ultimately the truth that binds one to the world. It comes and goes, so now i try to be as organized as possible. I am bad with the little things but i can remember faces and events fairly easily. But with the tearing the house down, you sort of change your tone and unwittingly lash out at those around you. I don&#39;t know why i did it. I guess it&#39;s PTSD? not sure. I never had a TBI. So in my case it&#39;s just the way that I am aging or something. I lay something down and I can&#39;t remember what I did with it. I start to say something, and if someone butts in, I forget what I wanted to say. WORST, of all, when my wife says she told me about us doing whatever or going somewhere, I don&#39;t know if she did or not. <br />What was I just talking about? (I&#39;ve gone through this one where I get called my brothers name)<br />If someone asks you to sing your favorite SONG, and you start singing &quot;C-130 rolling down the strip&quot;....you need a straight jacket ASAP.<br />If you go to a fine dining restaurant with your wife to celebrate your anniversary, and you bring flowers, balloons that say &quot;Get well soon&quot;, and &quot;Happy Birthday&quot;, and upon getting the menu, you get mad because you cannot find your favorite MRE or Strike Force meal, but you&#39;ve been to the same restaurant for over 30 years to celebrate this, you might need to remember to call a divorce lawyer and remember how to separate your stuff quickly.<br />And if you believe for ONE SECOND that Payton Manning went to Denver just to play for the Broncos, knowing that weed is legal there, and he just so happened to open up 1000 new Papa Johns stores just because (He gets the munchies too), you might be as delusional as he is. I do know that some memories I have are flawed but that could be caused by depression. Many PTSD/TBI/Depression people have bad memories because they are constantly fighting demons? Survival is primary and memory is not.
