When conducting Military Movement Drills 1 and 2, should soldiers in the formation remain "On Line"? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/when-conducting-military-movement-drills-1-and-2-should-soldiers-in-the-formation-remain-on-line <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This may be a common sense question, but I&#39;ve been reading through FM 7-22 and I can&#39;t get a definitive answer. When you conduct MMD 1 or 2, you do so in the extended rectangular formation, covered. But should soldiers stay on line for the duration of each exercise, or are they executed at your own pace? If you do it at your own pace soldiers could get more out of the exercise physically, but staying on line could instill the discipline that certain battle drills require such as staying on line when assaulting through an objective. That said, use your NCO leadership Soldier that’s what why it’s there! If you do not get the answer you are looking, move up the NCO chain until you do. At some point, a Sr. NCO will know the answer you seek - guarantee it! SGT Jim Ramge, MBA Thu, 14 Dec 2017 14:08:05 -0500 2017-12-14T14:08:05-05:00 2017-12-14T11:14:10-05:00
