Last year you likely did nothing, the veterans you "secured benefits for" did all the work and you took all the glory. Oh, btw why don't you ever tell WOMEN veterans when they go for a C&P to PRETEND it's their worst day ever no matter how they feel like you do the male veterans? I witnessed that happen at my DAV office.

I can't even get a ride from the er home 21 miles when an ambulance took me to ER. So I'm not impressed but do deal with a lot of men with the old fashioned beliefs women should have been home during the 70's attitudes.

I'm glad somebody is out there is helping vets. I went to a DAV meeting at Hunter Holmes Maguire hospital. We call it the butcher shop because the VCU hosp. is a teaching hosp. They practice operating on vets. VA hosp. can't be sued. Maybe the DAV in other states are better communicators. They were looking for more members. so I went home. I'm already a member of the Legion. I asked if they had a service officer. They didn't know what that was. Oh well.
