Look periodically the head shed tries to come up with something to enable changes in the various Corps. Normally after an increase in wrongful incidents. This to suppose to buy into clearing house, re-installing certain values. The only works if everyone is buying into it and actually working on it. , just no paying lip service.

Talent comes in various forms and is subjective. Different soldiers will excel at different and various things. As a leader not just an NCO we should build people up. In my opinion however training and education is on you. So many people not just military are comfortable with the standard, and if that's what they want that's on them. It's easy being great these days cause everyone is so soft. Wanting to develop yourself and make yourself "important" won't come by trying to live up to others expectations. It's the hardest simple thing to do, but at the end of the day it's all about what you're doing today to improve yourself and others around you? Accountability check.
