Are you referring to BG Sinclair? the SHARP portion of the trial crumbled. Remember?? People just need to undertand that portion. In the end he was not on trial for anything SHARP related. He was on trial for consentual Adultery between him and the accuser, reprimanded $20K for said relationship, and government travel card fraud of $4100 which he has to repay, and for maltreatment of his mistress. And now there will be a retirement board to determine his ran that he will retire at (possibly LTC). 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 26 Mar 2014 18:14:14 -0400 2014-03-26T18:14:14-04:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 26 at 2014 7:20 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-you-guys-think-about-the-latest-biggest-case-of-sharp-that-one-of-the-highest-rank-officer-is-involved?n=85981&urlhash=85981 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well the SHARP portion went out the door when it was found out that the victim committed perjury. Additionally, the lead prosecutor self admitted himself to behavioral health after he became aware of such behavior and his level of involvement in trying to prosecute a GO under false pretenses. Either way, I agree that he got off with little more than a slap on the wrist because let's face it... If I was found guilty of the same charges I would be dishonorably discharged, reduced in rank, game over. I know that GO's don't always fall under the same regulations or face the same consequences but with that being said, shouldn't they be held to higher levels of consequence since their sphere of influence affects many more than an E-2 would?
