If a veteran has 30%+, the best way to try and get in the door is with 30% direct hire for federal government. Where you don't have to wait for a posting on USA job posting.

But they are good resources with good tipsResponse by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made May 11 at 2015 6:09 PM2015-05-11T18:09:33-04:002015-05-11T18:09:33-04:00SFC Joe S. I went through TAPS that was taught by a 29 year old instructor. What am I going to learn from her, she had been out of college maybe 5-6 years. I learned more from the guy at my table who had his resumes to read and had 4-5 interviews already. He explained the whole process and how he got the interview and what happened during the interview. They need to bring back Vets who have made the transition and explain the process to us. Not some 29 year old contractor who is reading us mandated slides.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made May 12 at 2015 9:58 AM2015-05-12T09:58:44-04:002015-05-12T09:58:44-04:002015-05-11T18:05:59-04:00
