What would qualify a soldier for a Joint accomedation medal?

Reason for asking is me and a platoon size element is working a mission with all branches except coast guard trying to see if there is anything that could help for information

You must be assigned to a joint unit, on a joint manning document (JMD). Assignment in support of a joint unit does not qualify you for a joint award.Go to the link below. They provide info and answers to many FAQs.
