Just like once a Soldier, always a Soldier. If it was a big influence in his life, then get him something that brings attention to the MOS. I would love a challenge coin myself. I'm sure the guy is more than that. I'm sure you can come up with something else to go along with it. You can give him a big "Thanks for your service!" from a fellow Medic. The Shadow Box and Medals, or coins on display is nice as well. Honestly though when I look back over the years those things are cool an all, but its the pictures that matter most. Lucky for me there is facebook because I have found pages for my old units, images from a lot of people went there and I plan to use those to make a display.

Remembering the people and the "Suck" we shared means the most to me. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 26 Aug 2016 09:11:32 -0400 2016-08-26T09:11:32-04:00 Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 2 at 2016 11:25 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-would-be-a-good-gift-for-a-former-medic?n=1940923&urlhash=1940923

They have some pretty awesome statues and 3d plaques and things SGT Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 02 Oct 2016 11:25:37 -0400 2016-10-02T11:25:37-04:00 2016-08-09T09:47:20-04:00
