I quit making resolutions years ago. I never kept them and then I felt guilty so if I don't make one I can't break it.

I only have one:
To be a better father than before. Now that I am doing it alone, there are no overs and no safety net.
I pray for the wisdom to teach my two boys to be better men than I, and to make a difference according to their gifts and passions.
I pray for the wisdom to teach my daughter to reach her vast potential, choose a worthy man to share her life with, and make great decisions.

I'd love to say mine is to find a way to retire. I'd love to retire while I'm still young enough to enjoy it but with a daughter in college working on a BS in Biology and Pre-Dental I doubt I will ever get that chance.
