As stated by others mainly would not disparage or criticize someone or their position on an issue. Would prefer to see reasons for various positions than just simply subjective emotional responses. Would vote someone down if they were outright disrespectful aggressive or profane etc. We need to maintain good decorum for the expression of wildly different views..

Make it a point not to disrespect any members views,and never engage in anything political or religious in nature(although John Kerry is an exception for me personally can't stand the man God forgive me)

Tolerate those who push, forward or otherwise repeat racism, sexism or who believe that freedom of religion somehow means protecting the rights of religious extremists to discriminate against people they don't like. I won't personally insult such people, but I absolutely will block them once I realize that there is no meaningful conversation to be had.
