A socialist with a Republican congress sounds like more infighting and likewise with Clinton. Carson is an outsider much like Trump. Cruz is just to slick. Kasich is a Hawk but is fiscally conservative. Supported Goldwater-Nichols Act as well supported base realignment and closures. He's slowly gaining on Trump as well
