My friends back in the day would call things "dusty," there was probably about twenty different ways to say it that all meant different things. We all knew it, but no one else.

My friends and I have a phrase whose origin we don't even remember anymore.
In our circle of friends, we have a guy we nicknamed "Guido". His nickname migrated to him from this goofy hand gesture we would do; the gesture being some kind of bastardized high five, whereby instead of the guy slapping downward he brings his fingers and thumb together to a point and taps it into the open palm of the other guy and state "Guido".
Weird, I know.
Not sure where the hell that came from or why the act was referred to as "Guido" (though we still do the Guido hand gesture), but for reasons I do not remember--if I ever knew--the term "Guido" became my buddy's nickname.
