You leave an empty target frame between each shooter. When you have fired your three rounds. You put the weapon on safe, place it in the v-notch stake, get up, walk straight down to your target, check your group, about face and walk back to continue. Meanwhile, others are still firing around you. <br />It speeds everything up and builds the trust that your buddies won't kill you, as well as prepares you for an actual firefight. There's enough degree of separation to be safe but still increases training value.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 7 at 2018 9:54 AM2018-02-07T09:54:13-05:002018-02-07T09:54:13-05:00CPT Lawrence Cable3331372<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Demo Range. I found that I enjoyed and was really good at blowing stuff up. Nothing like a good cratering charge to brighten up the day. <br />The M2 Machine Gun range would be #2.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Feb 7 at 2018 10:12 AM2018-02-07T10:12:57-05:002018-02-07T10:12:57-05:00CPT Jack Durish3331713<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Land Nav was my favorite. I had been a competitive navigator from an early age (15) and excelled at it. I also enjoyed weapons training. As an Infantry OCS candidate, I got to fire just about everything. And then there was demolitions training. My partner was deathly afraid of it and I got to do everything, his part as well as mine.Response by CPT Jack Durish made Feb 7 at 2018 11:40 AM2018-02-07T11:40:58-05:002018-02-07T11:40:58-05:00Cpl Justin Goolsby3332602<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Love getting in some range time. Never fired a weapon before the Marine Corps, so discovering I was good at it made me look forward to it. Loved the ground fighting and bull in the ring. Most fight training always pairs you up with someone of an equal level. But ground fighting was always mismatched pairs of differing experience. Like a real fight, you're not always going to be fighting someone of the same skill. So it was awesome getting in the ring with opponents outside my experience level and trying to overcome them.Response by Cpl Justin Goolsby made Feb 7 at 2018 3:56 PM2018-02-07T15:56:35-05:002018-02-07T15:56:35-05:00SSgt Deana Bagesse8029167<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Extreme long range marksmanship and land navigationResponse by SSgt Deana Bagesse made Dec 14 at 2022 11:41 PM2022-12-14T23:41:49-05:002022-12-14T23:41:49-05:002018-02-07T09:19:49-05:00
